It seems as though every blogger at the moment is obsessed with owning one thing, a grey coat. It’s such a versatile piece, especially at this time of year when we’re transitioning from winter into spring. This grey coat is a beauty, I found it in a charity shop in perfect condition and couldn’t resist! My style at the moment is very much monochrome, but I found that this grey coat combined with a red lip really breaks up the black and white, and brings the look together. With the consistently miserable weather we’ve been having, it can be easy to sink into a makeup slump. When it’s rainy, it makes me even less inclined to get out of my warm bed and get on with the day. My makeup usually reflects my mood, so if it’s murky outside, I tend to go for a much stronger makeup look to match! The other day, however, I was inspired to do a fresh faced makeup look to combat this wet and windy weather. It’s easy to do, and lasted me all day on my wet and windy campus (the true test for makeup). Here’s how I did it! Base Start with applying a light base.
