So although it’s the end of March it’s still not feeling very ‘Spring-y’, but this is good news for all my fellow coat lovers. I’m constantly on the look out for new coats because lets be honest, it’s a
perfect excuse pretty good investment when it’s cold most of the year in England! The best thing about this time of year is that the charity shops are stocked with amazing coats that people are clearing out in readiness for Spring. It’s the perfect time to get a cosy new coat to get you through this transition period between seasons.
I found this stunning brown fur coat in a local charity shop for the grand sum of £9. I know, I still can’t believe it either. It’s in perfect condition and hangs so beautifully as it’s pretty heavy. The fur is also detachable, so I’ve essentially got two coats for the price of one! This coat could easily have been £60 from a high street shop, if not more. The high necked white jumper that I’m wearing in this post was also from a charity shop, which I bought for £4. I’d been looking for a similar one for an absolute age, I felt like it was such a staple item that was missing from my wardrobe, but I couldn’t quite justify spending £30 or more on one from somewhere like Topshop. I went into a charity shop on a whim just to have a look around and found this beauty. So go ahead, check out some charity shops! It’s the best feeling to find gems like these for not much money. It’s like the feeling you get when you find amazing stuff in the sale, but even better.
